Centennial Chicks
Also super cute and available at the Transit Museum Store is the “Centennial Chicks” poster created by Sloane Tanen in commemoration of the NY subway’s 100 year anniversary. I can’t remember who loved her “Bitter with Baggage” book most, but I remember Cyndi, Beth, Jill and I all took notice of these cute little chick scenarios. I believe Sloane Tanen also inspired Beth’s little Donald Trump and Tina Fey chick diorama?

I love those dumb things too...
Beth's diorama was sooo cute, and the Donald Trump chicken looked JUST like him, with his very own chicken toupee and snarly expression.
I had some of Beth's extra reject chickens (Mo, Schmo and Bo) displayed in my car, but I had to take them out when my car broke down, lest my mechanic think I am weird.
