An Unlikely Pair

It’s true, I do have a love of all things mismatched. I think it’s the greatest, especially when it comes to earrings.
I made this pair almost a year ago, when I decided to recycle the gold star bracelet I bought on sale at the “Japanese K-Mart” during my first and only trip to Japan. I combined the stars with scraps of gold-filled chain, pretty watermelon tourmaline teardrop briolettes, and a couple of brass charms of wild animals (both of which, apparently, one can attempt to pet at the OC Fair).

I like it too. And I'm really into the clothing recycling and re-arranging idea lately.
